Water is one of the four basic physical needs and is our elixir of life!
A safe water supply includes our high-quality drinking water treatment
Without potable water, survival is only possible for a very short time!
One possibility is drinking water in durable canned goods such as bags, canisters, etc. to store.
Not only does nature show us that we have to be prepared for frequent natural disasters, but also current events. Disasters such as floods, earthquakes and current war activities make us less safe.
There is a desire to store drinking water for times of crisis or to obtain drinking water from natural sources (streams, ponds, rivers, etc.) ) to use, or to be able to use.
The latter also applies to hikers and globetrotters.
Basically, the user does not want to be harmed by the water.
There are three aspects to consider:
1. Airborne contamination
2. The contamination with toxins
3. Contamination with pathogens
In order to free the water from these suspended matter, fine filtering must take place in the first step. The dirt and suspended matter must be removed in order to avoid premature clogging of the activated carbon filter. Standard fine filters are used for this.
Contamination with toxins
Toxins in water can be natural or man-made. Natural toxins are e.g. B Corpse toxins (dead animals) or toxins from microorganisms such as blue-green algae. Man-made toxins are industrial waste and accidents, accidents or even active poisoning of drinking water systems through sabotage, terrorism or war.
Only activated charcoal can be used to eliminate toxins (chemicals) from water because it has a high absorption capacity for various types of toxins and chemicals and other methods fail. As a second step, we recommend filtering using commercially available activated carbon block filters.
Many manufacturers state that activated carbon also eliminates pathogens, but this is not the case. On the contrary, they can grow en masse on the activated charcoal, since the porous surface and the filtered substances create a large area and a good food base. This growth leads to an enrichment of the water flowing through with microorganisms.
Contamination with pathogens
Many microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses) are harmless inhabitants of the water and have no pathogenic effect on humans.
Other microorganisms (pathogens - bacteria, fungi, viruses) in the water, however, are very harmful to humans and must not be ingested. These are partly of natural origin, but pathogens, including toxic chemicals, can also get into the water through sabotage, terrorism or war.
The following must be observed when treating the water with
1. To store water from a safe source (e.g. B Tap water non-toxic) 1%
2. When using the stored water from a safe source (eg. B Non-toxic tap water) or after a storage period of 4 months, the water is treated with 0.2%
Both concentrations correspond to the limit values of the Drinking Water Ordinance, i. H the water may be used for human consumption, including for the preparation of food and for drinking!
To treat water from unsafe sources (knowingly contaminated, streams, ponds, rivers, springs, etc. ) see instructions for use.
<1.0 g/L active chlorine released from hypochlorous acid,
<10 g/L sodium chloride, water
substance name: active chlorine released from hypochlorous acid
Scope of delivery:

If stored properly, the product has a shelf life of 18 months. See label on bottom.
Please dispose of the container and its contents in accordance with local regulations!
This product is not classified as hazardous according to Regulation No. 1272/2008 (EG), therefore the product is not subject to any special transport and storage regulations.
When using water from unsafe waters, e.g. B Streams, ponds, rivers, springs etc. , we strongly recommend using an activated carbon filter beforehand. Only activated charcoal can remove toxins and chemicals!
